4th of July Message

Message from Village President Mike Aimone: This weekend we will celebrate America’s 244th Birthday. For many of us that means firing up the grill and lighting up the sky with fireworks. It also comes with the opportunity to reflect on our nation’s history and celebrate those who are currently serving. I’ve always cherished Independence Day as a time to celebrate the bravery of those who fought for our freedom. I hope you will take time to celebrate and relax as well.

The Village of Union Grove offices will be closed on Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day. The 4th of July Parade is still being planned to take place this Saturday, July 4. The parade is organized by the Greater Union Grove Area Chamber of Commerce. For any questions regarding the parade, please contact the Chamber office at (2626) 878-4606.

If you will be outside of your home this weekend, please first review the recommendations from the Central Racine County Health Department (CRCHD) relating to the COVID-19 outbreak which have been updated as of June 29.

Finally, with the hot temperatures expected this weekend, be sure to stay hydrated if you are going outside.

Have a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend!
