On January 18, the Village Board interviewed five candidates interested in the vacant Village Trustee position. After the interviews, the Board approved the appointment of Amy Sasse to fill the remainder of the vacant term, which expires in April 2022. Amy has served as a poll worker, Junior Achievement volunteer, PTO president at John Paul II Academy and President of Junior League of Racine. She works in the field of hospitality management and holds a bachelor of arts in Communications from UW-Parkside. Amy resides in Union Grove with her husband and four children.
