The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is currently reconstructing roadways in and around the Wisconn Valley Development. As part of this work, construction on Hwy. 11, between 67th Dr. and the West Frontage Road of I-94, is scheduled to begin. The full stretch of Hwy. 11, between Hwy. 45 and the West Frontage Road, will be closed beginning on Monday, April 5, but access to residences and businesses will be maintained during the duration of this closure.

The following work is scheduled for the first phase of the project.

MORNING OF MONDAY, APRIL 5:

  • Hwy. 11, from US 45 to West Frontage Road, is scheduled to close long-term to traffic through late summer 2021, as crews resurface and reconstruct the roadway.
  • Access to Hwy. 11, west of the East Branch Root River Canal, will be maintained from US 45. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained for the duration of this closure.

DETOUR ROUTE:

  • Travelers are encouraged to use US 45, County KR, and West Frontage Road to get around the closure.

All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
