In-Person Meetings to Resume on June 1 with Schedule Changes

Share This:

Starting on June 1, and until further notice, all Union Grove and Yorkville meetings will be held in the first floor Community Room of the Union Grove Municipal Center. The larger room will allow meetings to have better spacing between attendees. A call-in option will still be available to accommodate any board/committee member or member of the public who wishes to join remotely; call-in information will continue to be provide on the top of meeting agendas.

In order to coordinate schedules with Yorkville, the following interim schedule changes will take place beginning on June 1:

  • Regular Union Grove Village Board meetings will take place on the 1st and 3rd Mondays at 6 p.m., instead of 2nd and 4th Mondays.
  • Union Grove Plan Commission meetings will still take place on the 1st Mondays of the month but will start at 5 p.m. instead of 6 p.m.
  • Union Grove Water, Wastewater, Storm Water and Streets Committee will still take place on the 3rd Mondays of the month but will start at 6:30 p.m., or as soon as Village Board is done.

All other Union Grove meetings will take place according to their normal schedules. Committees that meet as-needed will be scheduled in coordination with Yorkville based on the availability of the meeting room. Note that Union Grove will not have a second Board meeting in May – our next regular Board meeting will be Monday, June 1.
