Have ideas for the future of Union Grove’s park and recreation offerings? We want to hear from you! A park planning workshop will be held online this Thursday, August 19 at 6PM. It is open to residents of Union Grove and the surrounding community.

The meeting will be held via Zoom and you may be directed to install the Zoom app. You can also view the virtual workshop from the Union Grove Municipal Center (first floor Community Room), 925 15th Ave.
What to Expect:
Workshop attendees will join an interactive presentation about park planning and will be asked to complete a Visual Preference Survey which will involve viewing images of park and recreation elements and completing a VPS worksheet. The worksheet should be downloaded and printed in advance of the meeting. A hard copy also can be picked up at the Village Office. Click here to download the worksheet.
Then What?
Input gathered at the workshop will be considered in the Village’s new Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP). The plan will also incorporate results from the parks and recreation survey that was distributed earlier this summer in the Village Voice newsletter and online.
