On February 13, 2019 the Union Grove-Yorkville Fire Commission approved the appointment of Tim Allen as its new fire chief, effective on March 1. Allen brings 30 years of experience with the Union Grove-Yorkville Fire Department, including the past 17 years as assistant chief.
Allen replaces Tom Czerniak who has served as chief for the past 17 years – we thank Chief Czerniak for his service and congratulate him on his retirement!
