June 2, 2020 – This summer’s Rec. Department youth baseball and softball programs will be proceeding for all parents who choose to allow their children participate. The YMCA will be putting new rules and safety precautions in place to comply with health department guidelines as much as possible. The YMCA will be reaching out to all parents shortly to share the full list of rule changes. Practices for coach pitch and t-ball will start on July 6 and the season will take place during the month of July. All parents will be required to complete a waiver prior to the start of the season.
Any parents wishing to withdraw their child’s registration should notify Recreation Director, Katie Svendsen at ksvendsen@ymcaracine.org by June 15 in order to receive a refund. Uniforms will be ordered after June 15 and we will not be able to issue refunds once uniforms are ordered.
Any parents interested in registering children to play who have not do so yet may do so by June 15 (registration forms and payments must be received at the Union Grove Municipal Center by June 15). To download a registration form for Coach Pitch or T-Ball, click here.
